Last week i was surprisingly Luxembourg. Kind and friendly people who have created a warm community in their small community. Who take care for each other and the country.
I got the change to have a look in the health care and welfare of Luxembourg by visiting Foundation Kriibskrank Kanner. Where a spoke with Anne Goeres founder of this foundation. A very engaging and passionated woman. Who explains how the health care for kids with cancer is organised in Europe.
The special law they have in Luxembourg for the parents show their warmth and care for each other. When parents have a child with cancer they get both 1 year off in 2 years of work without losing income. So the parents really can be there for their kids. In my opinion is this a beautiful law which gives whole family time together in such a hard period. Warm Luxembourg, thank you for this experience!
